Why Flagship?

Flagship is the largest housing association in the east of England, and we’re more than a place to work. With us, you’re part of something bigger, where work matters. And together, we’ll fulfil our vision of solving the housing crisis.

Pride pledge

As a supporter of local pride events in the communities we serve, we commit to creating a safe, inclusive, and friendly environment for LGBTQIA+ and marginalised individuals across Flagship.

We will actively advocate for justice and equality for LGBTQIA+ and marginalised communities, while implementing transparent procedures to address any instances of harassment or discrimination. We firmly stand against homophobic, transphobic, bi-phobic, misogynistic, racist, and all forms of prejudiced behaviour.

We will prioritise the education and awareness of our members, volunteers, and staff, ensuring they are equipped to understand and support the experiences of LGBTQIA+ and marginalised individuals. By doing so, we aim to foster a culture of proactive allyship.

Employment commitments

We treat everyone fairly, with dignity, and respect. Everyone should be able to be themselves at work, with the freedom to express who you are. Our differences are a strength, not a weakness. That’s why we’re committed to creating a culture which is inclusive. We encourage open conversations. We want to break stereotypes and we’re not afraid to speak out.
